With the hanging of the barn quilt square in Van Buren we now have at least one quilt square in each of the 17 township in Hancock County. We now have about 70 quilt squares around the county. You can pick up brochures at the Convention & Visitors Bureau, Hancock Historical Museum, Legacy Pet & Feed, Kathy's Korner, Arcadia Superette and H & M Motors.

Second Bus Tour to see the Barn Quilts of Hancock Co. Aug. 1 
 
IT'S BACK! Our first Hancock County Barn Quilt Trail Bus Tour in June was so successful, we've decided to do another tour on Friday, August 1st! If you missed out last time, be sure to reserve a spot EARLY for this tour. Seats will fill up fast! Coming events:

If you missed Suzi Parron's lecture about "Barn Quilts and the American Quilt Trail Movement" last Sept., she will be speaking at Wood Co Historical Museum on May 9, at 12:30.

The Hancock Historical Museum will be hosting a Barn Quilt Trail Bus Tour on June 20th from 9 am to 5 pm. Learn more about Hancock County's agricultural history and folk art movement that has taken the nation by storm.
The chartered bus tour, will include more than 35 barn quilts and over 100 miles on the scenic country road of Hancock County. The day trip will have four stops. Lunch and refreshment throughout the day included.
Cost $60 ($55 for HHM members)
